Amy Brenneman, Bradley Silberling

Amy Frederica Brenneman, an actress in Beverly Hills, Calif., was married yesterday in Westport, Conn., to Bradley Silberling, a film and television director in Los Angeles. The Rev. Michael Stevens, a Congregational minister, officiated in the garden at the home of the bride's parents, Russell L. Brenneman and Judge Frederica S. Brenneman.

Ms. Brenneman, who is keeping her name, appeared most recently in "Casper," a film directed by her husband. She received two Emmy award nominations for her role on ABC-TV's "N.Y.P.D. Blue."

The bride graduated from Harvard University. The bridegroom graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara and received a master's degree in film from the University of California at Los Angles. The couple are founding members of the Cornerstone Theater Company Inc. in Los Angeles.

The bride's father, an environmental lawyer, is of counsel to Murtha, Cullina, Richter & Pinney, a Hartford law firm. Her mother is a Senior Judge of the Connecticut Superior Court in Bridgeport.

Mr. Silberling has directed episodes of "N.Y.P.D. Blue" and of "L.A. Law" on NBC-TV. He is the son of Joyce A. Silberling and Robert M. Silberling of Los Angeles. The bridegroom's mother, a travel consultant, is an owner of Meetings and Incentives International, developers of corporate travel-incentive programs in Los Angeles. His father, who retired as the vice president of CBS Entertainment Productions in Los Angeles, is an independent producer of films for television.
